I passed Isaac onto Emily and called 9-1-1. Once I got off the phone with them we called our relief society president who came and got Jake and Andrew and took them to her house. The paramedics finally arrived and Emily had done a good job of getting the bleeding stopped. They loaded Emily and Isaac into the ambulance and took off for the hospital.

Once getting to the hospital they had to sedate Isaac in order to do the CT scan as well as to sew him up. The doctors said Isaac was tough because there was no other problems. There was no internal bleeding and no skull fracture. We consider ourselves lucky that it was just the cut in his head. It took almost an hour for them to stitch him up. He ended up with 25 stitches.

We brought Isaac home the same day around 10PM. He had a rough night but has been acting pretty normal today. The only things he hates is diaper changes and getting his antibiotics rubbed on the wound. We are glad it wasn’t worse then it was.

Boy number four!

After we told the boys that the new baby was going to be a boy they were not very happy. They kept asking why it was a boy and saying they wanted it to be a girl. Once they gave into the fact that we were having another boy they asked if we could go pick him up.

This morning Andrew came to me and said, “Dad, I want a brother now.”

Funny kids!
